Summer holidays is the time when we all make amazing plans and go for long trips to make the best use of our vacations. It is great to make such plans and enjoy but, only if you can follow precautions because there is a lot that can go wrong due to immense heat. It is the weather when mostly people fall ill due to unhygienic issues, bad quality water, under cooked food etc. So, here are the things that you must take care of when you are traveling in summers.
1. Use mineral Water
Whenever you travel in summers, take mineral water along with you. Do not drink tap water as contamination can make you very ill. Also try carrying a non plastic bottle to decrease the risk of exposure to carcinogens.
2. Do not eat foods that are too Heavy
Eating oil laden and heavy food during traveling can create problems for the stomach. You should always keep yourself light when you are going on a trip because, many people face the problems of vomiting due to this heaviness.
3. Take all the basic medicines along with you
Do not forget to keep all the basic medicines before going anywhere on a long route. Keeping medicines helps you in the emergency situations like for headache, fever or cold. At times we are on a route where we cannot find any medicine shop nearby so, you must have these things ready in advance.
4. Avoid eating street food
No doubt street foods are very tasty and spicy. But, during summers we should avoid eating foods that are made in open as they are unhygienic. Do not spoil your vacations by eating these things. Control yourself and look for something hygienic, this will keep you healthy throughout your whole journey.
5. Avoid eating under cooked food
Under cooked food can easily get bacteria’s and germs specially non veg. So, try to go for more vegetarian stuff and if you are a hard core non vegetarian then you must eat properly cooked non veg.
6. Eat fresh food
Do not consume food that is made long time before you want to eat it. Eat freshly made food to avoid digestive problems.
7. Keep hand SANITIZE-RS and paper soap
Before traveling anywhere you must take care of your personal hygiene. Summers is the time when you need to take extra care of yourself. Keep your hands clean and use sanitizer to stay away from germs and dirt.
