No one is allowed to go after the sunset
Tourists are strictly not allowed to go inside the fort after the sun sets as it’s believed that in the dark it’s more dangerous and risky. There are also stories that people who tried breaking this rule and went inside at night, never came back again. Besides this, even the government has placed boards with strict warning notice for the visitors.
Locals who stay near Bhangarh village do not have roofs at their homes because whenever they try making, it collapse. So, most of the people stay there without having a shed on their heads. Isn’t this weird yet scary?
Along with people not coming back from the fort there are also many other stories that have been proved right. Among them the most common one is that three friends tried going inside the fort after evening and one of them fell inside the steep well in the middle of the fort. Though his friends saved him but when they all were returning their car crashed and they died.
Although there are many rumors behind the reason why Bhangarh is haunted but the one which is believed by most of the people is that, a magician by the name of Singhia Sevra cursed the fort. He had bad intentions for the Queen Ratnavati so, she killed him and since then the fort has been considered haunted.
Foreigners are rarely welcomed at the site
Tourists outside from India are not allowed to see the fort; they have to bring a special permit along with them to go inside. The reason behind this is, most of the people who went missing from Bhangarh were foreigners and thus since then, government passed more strict rules for them.
There are many temples near the fort
The shocking part is that priests from all over India have come and tried to rid the fort from the curse but they failed. Even there are four temples including Lord Someshwar, Gopinath, Mangla Devi and Keshava Rai but despite their efforts, things have not improved.
