This year holidays are going to witness a surge as most of the international destinations have opened up and are welcoming fully vaccinated travellers from different nooks and corners of the world. Owing to the pandemic, the travel and hospitality industry witnessed a long hiatus and now travellers are all set to pack their backs and jet off.
Since 27th March 2022, international flights have been resumed and India has also resumed tourists visas for foreign nationals. Hence, this summer is going to revive the travel industry as countries like Bali, Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam, France, Switzerland, the UK, and Spain are fully opened up for travellers due to which this summer will have an extra bonanza and fun. The regional head – India and the Middle East, Luxury Escapes, Arun Ashok has also said that “we expect bookings during this season to surpass anything we’ve seen in the recent past”.
The travel sector will be a much-needed relief and a win-win situation both for the travellers and the travel industry too as people will get an opportunity to delight and refresh and the industry will see a spike in its revenue. Since after 2 years of inactivity, it is reviving at a scale with an increasing number of travellers without the mandatory quarantines and negative RT-PCR upon arrival.
The opening up of international destinations with the easy resumption of flights has encouraged travellers to replan their lost travel itineraries and seize their day with east travel and accommodation.
