Tungnath: Considering the history of Panch Kedar, Tungnath is at a distance of 3.5 km from Chopta and lies in between the way of Chandrashila. At an altitude of 3680 meters, the trek to the Lord Shiva temple takes a maximum of 3 hours to complete with beautiful sightseeing and breathtaking mountain views. 

Chandrashila: The peak of the Chandrashila trek is at a distance of 6 km from Chopta and offers stunning and beautiful snow-covered hilly views. With an altitude of 4000 meters, the hills surround a trekker with clouds and make him feel like he is flying in the air. This trek is best considered for beginners and takes a maximum of 5 hours to complete.

Deoria Tal: Deoria Tal is highly known for its mythological stories and is located at an altitude of 2387 meters above sea level. Don’t forget to visit the Sari Village that is 16 km away from Chopta and is the starting point of the trek to Deoria Tal. This is the smallest yet adventurous trek that can be completed within 2 hours; however, its immense beauty at each step sometimes makes it time-consuming as a trekker fully gets lost in it to enjoy each moment within the trek. 

Whenever you decide to plan a trip to Chopta, always go between April to June as the climate remains pleasant. Whereas, July to September sees heavy rainfall and November to March is the season of snowfall.
