Italy has been hit by the coronavirus in the worst way and is now under complete lockdown. There are hardly any people being seen on streets and tourist activities have come to a halt.

Many tourist hotspots have been abandoned as people remain under quarantine.

But on the bright side, the positive effect of this outbreak is being seen.

Crystal clear water is flowing through the canals of Venice and this unexpected side of the pandemic has led fishes, swans, and even dolphins to move freely across the quiet water of canals.

People were more than pleased to see this and shared the photos and videos on the internet for the world to see.

People were quick to respond to this change and had a lot of things to say.

“The water now looks clearer because there is less traffic on the canals, allowing the sediment to stay at the bottom,” said the mayor’s office spokesperson to CNN.
